Use the dashboard
Read your dashboard route board for drop-offs and pickups, the scheduling queue, and fallback return lists.
Use the dashboard
The Dashboard is your daily work surface. It greets you with "Welcome back, {first name}" and keeps a Scan button in the top right for jumping straight into work. Inventory status counts live on Units, where they can also filter the unit list.
Route board
If you are on the Growth plan and have turned on order fulfillment in QuickBooks settings, the dashboard shows a route board. On a phone it shows one day at a time so every stop has room to be read and managed. On a tablet or computer it shows three days side by side, starting with today. Each card is either a Drop-off or Pickup.
Drop-off cards use the order checkout date. Pickup cards use the expected return date. Dated cards stay on their actual dates, so use the left arrow to review previous days and clean up older work. Click any card to open the full order page, where you can inspect the customer, delivery address, products, payment status, route window, and QuickBooks invoice link if one exists. A warning icon on a card means payment has not been recorded yet.
Manual sequencing is included: drag cards up or down inside a day to set the driver's stop order. Optimize route is part of the AI route planning add-on. When that add-on is enabled, TrackDME reorders the day's stops and adds estimated delivery windows. It starts from the main warehouse address in Company settings, uses the business day start time, adds service time and padding at each stop, and gives pickups a preference when the returning item can help fulfill a later drop-off. If any stop is missing a delivery address, TrackDME highlights those cards and asks you to fix them first. See route optimization.
Needs scheduling
Orders missing a drop-off date or pickup date appear under Needs scheduling below the board. Drag one into the right day to set that order's checkout date or expected return date.
Move work between days
Drag a drop-off card to another day to change that order's checkout date. Drag a pickup card to another day to change that order's expected return date. Use the arrow buttons above the board to move the schedule forward or back one day at a time. On a phone this changes the single visible day. On a larger screen it pans the three-day window.
Set the driver order
The vertical order inside a day matters. Drag cards up or down within a column to set the route sequence for the driver. Drop-offs and pickups share the same sequence in the column, so the board can represent the real order of stops. When you reorder a day by hand, TrackDME recalculates the route windows around the new sequence.
Fallback overdue and return lists
If order fulfillment is not turned on, the dashboard keeps the original Overdue and Coming back in the next 7 days lists for checked-out units. Once order fulfillment is on, those workflows move into the route board.
