Open Equipment

Equipment is the inventory view for the workspace. Open an equipment type to see its serialized units or quantity balances.

A reservation holds capacity for dates. A physical status tells you where the equipment is in its current lifecycle. Keep these two facts separate when deciding whether another customer can use it.

Serialized equipment

Each unit has a unique barcode and its own custody and history. On the equipment type, use View rental when a unit is out, or Reserve this unit to hold that exact unit for a future customer.

Select a unit's barcode to open Equipment history. The page shows its latest 100 movements with staff, time, and readiness changes in the business time zone. Rental history links to its latest 50 rental assignments, including a replacement unit's record after a swap.

Quantity-tracked equipment

Interchangeable equipment uses counts. Ready, out, cleaning, and repair quantities are tracked separately. Receive and release only the quantities that physically changed state.

Readiness

Use Mark ready only when cleaning or repair is finished. This releases the equipment into available inventory.
