Company settings

A tour of the admin-only Company settings hub: company profile, catalog re-scan, reprocessing, QuickBooks (connection, customers, products, order fulfillment), and your team.

Company settings

Company settings is where admins manage your whole TrackDME account. It is admin-only, so Members will not see it.

To open it, click your user menu (top right) and choose Company settings.

The page is a sidebar with six sections.

1. Company profile

This section holds your business details and route planning defaults. These fields are collected during onboarding too, but admins can update them any time.

  1. Edit your Company name.
  2. Edit your Website. TrackDME uses this site to prefill and recrawl your catalog, so keep it accurate.
  3. Add your Main warehouse address. Route optimization uses this as the starting point for the driver.
  4. Set Business hours with a day start and day end. Route windows start from these hours and include stop time plus padding.
  5. Click Save changes.

2. Catalog

If you have a website set, this section lets AI build out your catalog from it.

  1. Click Re-scan with AI.
  2. TrackDME recrawls your site and adds any new categories, products, and photos it finds.
  3. Review the summary it shows when it finishes.

This is safe to run more than once. Existing items are reused rather than duplicated, so you only get genuinely new entries. For more on building your catalog, see Set up your product catalog.

3. Reprocessing & sanitizing

This section turns on the optional clean-before-re-rent stage between check-in and a unit going back into service. It is off by default. Choose Off, All products, or Selected products, see Reprocessing and sanitizing for the full walkthrough.

4. QuickBooks

This section connects TrackDME to QuickBooks and is split into four cards.

  • Connection: click Connect to link QuickBooks for the first time, or Reconnect if the status shows Reconnect needed (for example, after a token expires).
  • Customers: click Sync now to pull the latest customers on demand.
  • Products: click Import products to review and add products from your QuickBooks item catalog.
  • Order fulfillment: turn on automatic order creation from paid QuickBooks invoices, gated by plan.

For the full walkthrough, see Connect QuickBooks.

5. Team

This section is where you invite teammates and manage who has access. From here you can send invites, change roles, remove members, and revoke pending invitations. Because TrackDME supports unlimited users, you can add your whole team.

For the step-by-step, see Invite your team and set roles.

6. Activity log

This section is a running history of everything your team has done, across every unit, most recent first, see Activity log.

Next steps

Dig into the product catalog, turn on reprocessing if you need it, or finish your QuickBooks connection.
