Customer ETA Link
A private web link sent for one delivery or pickup that estimates arrival time from the driver's latest route location.
A customer ETA link gives the recipient a simple arrival estimate without requiring an account or app. Dispatch sends it manually when the vehicle is on the way. The companion app can instead open a separate phone-originated text in Messages.
The estimate updates as new route locations arrive. Traffic, location permissions, and weak connectivity can change the displayed time, so it is an operational estimate rather than a guaranteed appointment time.
A secure implementation uses a random, expiring link and reveals only the visit type, destination, and ETA. It does not expose the driver's identity, phone number, full route, or other customer stops.
